Roger Tausz – some artists’ influence over the Houston music scene is almost invisible, yet undeniable.

Growing up in the recording studio, Roger’s skills on bass guitar and behind the board are masterful and exciting.

His live bass credits (Tracy Conover, Sisters Moralles, New Jack Hippies, Billy Joe Shaver) are surpassed only by his recording credits (Mr. Scarface, Stevie Nicks, Freddy Fender), and his vast catalog of songs, co-written with the likes of Guy Schwartz, Tyri Schiek, Father’s Chief, and now, Karen Antone.

Generations of younger Houston musicians and engineers have benefitted from and been influenced by his role model and musical generosity.
